CMA participated as Judge in Science Fair

For the 7th consecutive year, we are proud to be part of the incredible Science Fair for the Department of Education Bayamon Region. It is organized by the Interamerican Association of Environmental Engineering and Sciences (AIDIS by its Spanish acronym), a non-profit organization that promotes awareness and interest in the field.

Student are encouraged to participate with their science projects and explore the environmental engineering world. Projects are evaluated by practicing engineers who select a winner based on creativity, innovation and research within each public education region. Later on regional winners compete for the Puerto Rico AIDIS Grand Prize.

CMA’s environmental engineer and partner Pedro Janer was one of the judges. Along with AIDIS representatives, he evaluated more than 30 science projects carried out by high school students of the Bayamon Education region at the Municipality of Cataño Conventions Center. The winner will compete for the AIDIS Grand Prize fair to take place at Lilly del Caribe facilities this April 20th, 2017.

We are excited to be a small part in the foundation of our future engineers. For more information about this competition and AIDIS, please visit For information about CMA, visit
