CMA lectures on Hurricane Resistant Roofing at UPR-RUM
Continuing with the conference cycles offered by CEMA (Construction Engineering Management Association) in the Department of Civil Engineering and Surveying of the University of Puerto Rico's Mayaguez Campus, our Partner, Geraldo E. Jusino, offered a lecture on Hurricane Resistant Roofing Systems. The conference was held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 (10:30 am) at the auditorium of the Civil Engineering Department in UPR-RUM. Students learned about the importance of roof assemblies, building code requirements, design, specifications, construction, warranty and field testing. CMA presented case studies of roof failures documented on September, 2017 hurricane Maria aftermath. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session.
